Restaurants Offering Takeaway Service in Manilva and the Surrounding Area
Although most of our favourite restaurants have now re-opened, many people would still rather opt for a takeaway at home. For example, if you are shielding or just don’t feel comfortable going out in public yet, many restaurants have got you covered. As a result, we have compiled a list of restaurants offering takeaway service in Manilva, Sotograne, La Duquesa and the surrounding area.
What’s Available?
With all the applicable COVID-19 safety procedures in place, there is no need to forgo your Saturday night takeaway. From Thai, Indian, Pizza or even a full roast dinner, there is a wide selection of options available. Therefore, keep reading this list of some of the restaurants, who are currently offering this service. In addition, we have included contact details and links to sites and Facebook pages where possible. Please check these out – many of these services are very new and the restaurants are introducing new dishes, new specials all the time.
UPDATE: This list was compiled in April during lockdown. Therefore, although many will still offer takeaway service, it is not a guarantee. Please call the restaurant up beforehand to see if this service is still available.
Restaurants Offering Takeaways in La Duquesa
The Quays Irish Bar & Tapas
The Quays are offering home delivery service from 1600 – 2100, Monday to Friday. Apart from a standard menu, they also have different theme nights – like Thai night or Chinese night. On these nights they will offer additional specials from that themed cuisine. Additionally, they offer a Sunday lunch menu, which comprises of a three-course typical Sunday lunch.
Check out their Facebook page which has daily updates on specials, menus and prices. The delivery charge is only 3.50 euros which I think is very reasonable. Here is their regular menu:

Mini India La Duquesa
If you are craving a delicious, authentic Indian meal, then Mini India Duquesa is offering home delivery between 14:00 – 22:00.

Flame Steak & Grill
Flame Steak and Grill is located in El Castillo, La Duquesa. They deliver from 1800 – 2300 everyday. This is a great place to order from especially if you have people who want different types of food. Flame offers and extensive menu offering foods from different countries. From traditional Indian dishes to Thai stir fry dishes or Mexican Fajitas, there is so much to choose from. Additionally, there is a great grill menu offering steaks and burgers, and of course a Spanish influence with a number of fish dishes. So, why not check out their menu here.

Marlows Fish & Chips
If you fancy real Fish & Chips then give Marlows a call. Marlows are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. However, they are only offering a reduced menu for takeaways. You can call from 1pm to reserve your delivery slot. They are delivering in the immediate area as far as the Casares roundabout for a small delivery charge of 3€ (Minimum order is 20€)

Restaurant Chili
A unique restaurant offering a fabulous selection of Indian dishes as well as Mexican dishes and great steaks. If you have a family who prefer different options, then this is the place for you. Danimo’s Pizza Takeaway
Danimo’s is located in Monte Duquesa and they offer a range of pizzas, Burgers, kebabs and side dishes. They are open every day apart from Tuesdays from 6pm. Delivery is free within a 5km radius for orders over 18€.

Pizzeria Paparazzi
Pizzeria Paparazzi is located in Sabinillas and they are offering home delivery on their menu. They deliver from 13:30 – 16:00 and again in the evening from 1930 – 24.00. They offer a whole range of Italian dishes – whilst best renowned for their pizzas, they have a very extensive menu that can bring the taste of Italy into your home – check out their menu for a combination of pizzas, pastas, risottos, meat and fish dishes. Cacho Voy is located in Manilva village. They are open from 12.00 – 16.00 and 19:00 – 24:00, all week long. Please check their facebook pages for updates. They offer a great menu with lots of Italian options – pizzas and pastas and also some great meat dishes like ribs and a great selection of burgers. Bucintoro
Bucintoro is an Italian Restaurant located near the San Roque Club. They are open for delivery between 17:30 and 22:00 everyday. Bucintoro was one of our favourite Italian restaurants prior to lockdown – there food is delicious and it is good to see that they recently introduced a home delivery service. Bucintoro has an extensive menu including provolone, Pasta Nalanie ( a vegetarian pasta, named after my mum – and no, I am not joking… it really is), delicious pizzas and pastas with gluten free options. The delivery charge is 3€ for San Roque Club and 4€ for Sotogrande, Alcaidesa and Guadiaro. Check out their menu here.
