St Patrick’s day celebrations in Sabinillas

This year, as on previous years, the Manilva Foreign Residents association, have organised St Patrick’s day celebrations. St Patrick’s day is huge in Spain, much more so than St George’s day when the celebrations tend to be  much more traditional. Maybe the Irish ex pats know how to party…. a bit like the Spanish!!!

Anyway, this year’s celebrations will take place on March 17th (obviously!) in the square by Punta Almina (also know locally as Albert square..) The day’s events kick off at 12.00 noon. You can expect bouncy castles, live music, various stalls and face painting plus much more.

If past years are anything to go by, and the weather stays fine, the the turnout should be massive.  Come along and enjoy a Guinness in the sun….”to be sure”
