A Christmas Trip to Malaga
If you’re looking for an adventure, venturing out to the city centre of Malaga is a must-see this season! Its Christmas lights and markets have been listed among the top 20 in all of Europe.
Walking along the main street of Calle Larios, with this year’s theme of ‘Celestial Angels’, you can find 16, 4 metres tall sparkling angels flying above you, welcoming you into the centre of Malaga. They will be on daily from 6:30PM to 12:00PM and on weekends and the eve of holidays, from 6:30PM to 2:00AM, all the way up to January 6th 2023.
You can’t miss out on the magical Christmas light show, taking place daily at: 6:30PM, 8:00PM and 10:00PM. You can join the crowds singing and dancing to typical Christmas songs, whilst the Angels above you sparkle to the tune of the music.
Another must-see is the Christmas Drone show on Friday 23rd December at 7:30PM, which you will be able to see throughout the city.
Scattered throughout the centre, you can find various Christmas markets, in Muelle Uno, and Paseo del Parque among various others. On Avenida Andalucia, outside the Corte Ingles, you will be able to find the Christmas Village, with its very own ice-rink, carousel, Christmas train and ‘snow city’.
The video mapping on the Cathedral will be from November 27th to January 4th, (except December 24th & 31st) at 6:30PM, 8:00PM and 10:00PM. The best place to see the show is between Calle Molina Lario & Calle Postigo de los Abades.
