This year, the Adana Dog show celebrates it silver jubilee – the 25th annual dog show will take place in the Palacio de Congresos in Estepona (just down from Carrefour) on Sunday 26th April from 10.30am until 4pm. This event gets bigger each year attracting more and more participants and spectators. Not only is this an important fundraising event in Adana’s calender, it is also a great fun day out for all the family.
Registration starts at 11.00 and judging begins at 12:00. There are 20 different classes this year running from obedience and agility to the beauty pageant where “Mr” dog and “Miss” dog are crowned. This year special anniversary medals have been made for the winners and there is a new trophy for Best in Show.
There will be stalls offering all sorts of services and goodies for dogs, face painting, grooming demonstrations (for dogs only!!), a bar and a cafe. In the interval there will be a demonstration by the local police dog team.
Entrance is just €2. (Children are free when accompanied by an adult)
