We went our with some friends last week and were undecided as to where to go so arranged to meet in Duquesa Marina and then see what took our fancy. Eventually we decided on Indian and walked across to Shazna. Shazna is located frontline in the Marina and used to be known as “The passage to India”
The decor is very warm and welcoming and the service very friendly. There is such a huge selection of dishes on the menu, including some dishes unique to Shanzna, the that it took us ages to decide but in the end we chose a mixed starter platter (12€) to share followed by a curry each. We ordered 2 rice dishes and 2 naam bread which was plenty – in fact the rice was almost too much for 4 of us!!
I have to say, it was one of the best Indian meals I have had in a long time. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. If you’re staying in one of the nearby urbanisations such as Marina de la Duquesa, then it’s right on your doorstep.
