Fancy a night off from cooking… well there’s a fab new takeaway restaurant just opened in the centre of Manilva town.
“La Peña” offers a wide range of dishes to takeaway including spit roast chicken, Ribs, mixed fish platter, filled baguettes, and kebabs. They will even do you a paella if you pre order it in advance.
We tried it last weekend and I was not disappointed. We had a spit roast chicken (which they cut in quarters for you) and 2 portions of chips. Grand total of €14 (which is a lot cheaper than some other takeaway options…) and it was so filling, it easily feed 5 of us. The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean and the staff really really friendly and accommodating. One more bonus, if you don’t want to go out, you can phone them with your order and they will deliver it you (within Manilva town) for just €1 extra.
La Peña can be found at the top of Calle Mar (Manilva’s main street) literally opposite Unicaja bank. The are open every day from 12.pm – 4pm then again from 7pm – 10pm. You can call them on +34 651 67 50 34 or 645 154167
