“Get to know Manilva” campaign continues

Over the past few months, the Manilva tourism department has invited groups from other towns and cities to Manilva in an effort to get Manilva known and to encourage more tourism – one of our main sources of income.

Two of the most recent visits were from groups of over 50 people from Medina Sidonia (a lovely village en route to Jerez) on the 9th May and from Puerto de Santa María ( Costal village near Cadiz) on 11th May.

The day began with breakfast in a local restaurant  in Manilva followed by a walk along the paseo in Sabinillas, visiting the old fishing village and Sabinillas church.  The groups them moved to Duquesa where they visited the castle, the fencing museum and the painting and ceramics exhibition.  Lunch was then served at the restaurant in Camping Bellavista.

The feedback from the visits was very positive with both groups falling in love with Manilva and promising to return.

More trips will be organised throughout the coming months. Like they say, any business is better than no business so keep em coming!!!!
