Doña Pilar, Manilva

Doña Pilar, this is probably one of my favourite urbanisations in Manilva – I love the energy and feel of it. The urbanisation sits elevated on the Manilva mountains and offers a birds-eye view of the mountains towards Estepona and breath-taking views of the sparkling Mediterranean sea. You feel as though you are breathing in fresh mountain air, free of pollutants. The urbanisation is very quiet and peaceful and feels quite secluded and private. Despite the latter, it is situated just a few minutes walk into Manilva town, making it an extremely practical urbanisation to live in.

Doña Pilar is a small urbanisation made up of 3 and 4 bedroom townhouses. They feel like real homes as they seem to have been built for families rather than typical holiday properties. And what do I mean by that. well, primarily, the homes have lots of character with a fireplace in the main living room. Secondly they are spacious, good-sized homes, something hard to come by these days. Many of the houses have car ports and some have basements.

There is a well kept community garden and swimming pool with superb views across the sea and mountains, giving one a feeling of space and freedom.

Manilva Village is typical of the Spanish white-washed villages, with that sense of siesta in the afternoon hours. However the village has a lot to offer. There are many activities organised, a school, a dance studio and even a well-established music school where they offer subsidised music classes to kids and parents alike.

Living in this village is perfect for those who treasure the typical and traditional Spain, yet want to be close to the coastal area of this region. It isonly a two minute drive away from the growing village of Sabinillas and the Marina of La Duquesa.

One can enjoy a perfect blend of the old and new by living in Doña Pilar.
