Shani’s Lockdown Diary – Thursday 2nd April – So many Performing Arts Initiatives

The week is flown by again and I am overwhelmed by all the new initiatives.  It has been great to see the Performing Arts industry opening up to the world and offering online streaming of live productions.  These initiatives help to bring a smile to people’s faces, help people to switch off and help people to forget the outside world and enjoy some moments of peace.  Here are some initiatives that really grabbed my attention.

Exercise – RAD

This new initiative from the RAD really caught my eye – maybe it is because I am passionate about dance?

This initiative is known as ‘Silver Swans’ and is aimed at the older generation to get them moving at home. They are making short, easy-to follow videos. It is perfect for experienced dancers or adults with no previous experience.

Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil have also produced some videos of some of their best performances.  This is wonderful escapism. Sit back, relax and enjoy the amazing talent.  Check out this link for latest You Tube performances:

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dream coat is on tomorrow and will be online for the weekend!
