It was my daughter’s 17th birthday last week (now I feel old…) and we celebrtaed on Saturday. I spent most of the morning making the “17” birthday cake that she had requested, with the 1 in plain sponge with cream and the 7 in a chocolate version.
The cake ended up far too big for the amount of guests at the party so I brought some in for our Hamilton Homes breakfast meeting – seemed to go down very well with my colleagues….
