Yet again, the Manilva Foreign Residents association, have organised the local St Patrick’s day celebrations.
St Patrick’s day is huge in Spain, much more so than St George’s day when the celebrations tend to be much more traditional. Maybe the Irish ex pats know how to party…. a bit like the Spanish!!!
Anyway, this year’s celebrations will take place on March 17th (obviously!) in the square by Punta Almina in Sabinillas. The day’s events kick off at 3pm. There will loads of activities and entertainment including bouncy castles, live music, various stalls and face painting….and of course, the Guinness will be flowing!!
Bet there be a few sore heads on the morning of the 18th….
