Once again, Sabinillas goes retro and heads back to the 60’s for the II Sabinillas Scooter Day which will take place on Saturday April 18th.
Scooter enthusiasts of all ages will converge in the town centre around 12.00. From there, they will ride out around Manilva allowing the riders a chance to show off their scooters, then it’s onto Las Brasas in Sabinillas for lunch. After lunch the riders hit Duquesa port then along the paseo in Sabinillas
Continuing with the 60’s theme, three of Spain’s top Dj’s will be playing all the classics from the era on original vinyl (for those of us old enough to remember!) on the Paseo between Frankies and Las Palmeras,
To round off the day, there will be a party at the Mayfair Music Club (Plaza Ginebra – behind Solbank) from 9.30 in the evening. There will be two live bands – the Bar-Kings from Seville and Los Kriptolites from Jaen – as well as DJs playing all the hits of the era, again, on original vinyl.
All events are free….. sound like a great day, even if you don’t own a scooter!!
