Another Fiesta…. Tomorrow is Manilva’s Saints Day, Día de Santa Ana and the town is busy preparing for a day of festivities.
The day will begin at 8am when the local marching band “Chi Chi Pom” parading through the streets and a few rockets going off for good measure…
From 9am, the local bars in main street will be giving away free churros. You just need top buy a drink (I would hope coffee this early in the morning) and your churros will be free.
Free 11.30 there will be traditional fun and games for the smaller children in the main street.
The holy mass takes place in Santa Ana church at 7pm followed by a procession where the statue of Santa Ana is carried through the town’s streets.
The entertainment continues into the evening in Calle Mar from 10pm with live music with the group “Rompe-Olas”.
It’s usually a great fun day
