For the fourth year running, there will be a Road Race in Manilva.This event is organised by Manilva Athletics Club in collaboration with the sports department This year’s event will be held on Saturday 23rd August from 7pm (far far too hot to run during the day!!)
The main race distance is approximately 6km and covers Sabinillas, Duquesa and Castillo, however there are several different categories for varying age groups as follows
Pre Benjamin – Children born in 2006 and later. This race is 400 m and starts at 7 pm.
Benjamin – Children born in 2004/2005. Again 400 m at 7 pm.
Alevin – Children born in 2002/2003. 800 m at 7.15 pm.
Infantil – Children born in 2000/2001. 800 m at 7.15 pm.
Cadete – Children born in 1998/1999. 6 km at 8 pm.
Junior – Children born from 1994 to 1997. 6 km at 8 pm.
Senior – Adults born from 1980 to 1993. 6 km at 8 pm.
Veterans A – Adults born from 1968 to 1979. 6 km at 8 pm.
Veterans B – Adults born in 1967 and before. 6 km at 8 pm.

There will be t shirts for all competitors and trophies for winners and runners up in each category.
