La Borboleta, Duquesa

La Borboleta is a small urbanisation of town houses close to the Marina de La Duquesa, Manilva.  The houses are right on the beach front with direct access to the beach from the communal gardens.  La Borboleta is a rare gem as there are few urbanisations of townhouses located on the beachside.  For anyone looking for that perfect beach home, this is it.  Sit in your garden and watch the spectacular sunrise in the early morning while sipping a coffee.

Not only is the location idyllic, but the houses are a good size – they are large and spacious and there are different types to choose from.  For those craving lots of space and a nice big underground garage, then the second row of houses is for you.  They are spread over three floors with spectacular terraces and private underground garages.  However, if it is all about the view and the pool for you, then the front-line houses, spread over two levels and with lovely gardens, leading directly to the pool are for you.  These houses, however, have a private parking port outside the house rather than a full-blown garage.

To be honest though, it is the large communal pool that usually catches one’s eye with its large area around it, giving people space to lounge around and spend many a Summer’s Day basking in the sun.

As for location…. well it’s pretty perfect.  Amenities are just about a two-minute car journey up the road.  There are numerous supermarkets, restaurants, and practical services in the town of Sabinillas such as a Post Office and Medical Centre.  if you don’t want to drive though and fancy a stroll, there are restaurants close by, such as the famous San Rafael, only 5 minutes away or the fish restaurants of Castillo, just 15 minute walk away.  If you care to venture further, the Port of Duquesa is about 20 minutes away.  The Port of Duquesa has numerous bars and restaurants boasting all kinds of different cuisines.
