This year, Adana will be holding their Christmas fair on Sunday 1st December in the Palacio de Congresos in Estepona, starting from 10.30am.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Adana stands for Association for the Rights of Abandoned Animals and is a local animal charity completely run by volunteers. They aim to promote love and affection for animals, to provide facilities for the shelter and care of abandoned, sick and injured animals whilst all the time, seeking to re-home them .
The Adana Christmas fair is a great day out for all the family with plenty of activities and some great ideas for inexpensive and novel Christmas gifts.
You can expect stalls selling hand made arts and crafts, jewellery and leather ware, and other selling delicious homemade cakes and goodies as well as Adana Christmas cards. There will also be stalls from many local shops and businesses, selling everything from books, clothes, plants and dog biscuits.
To keep the hunger at bay, there will be a bar and cafe selling cakes and snacks. The entertainment on offer includes children’s games, and carol singers.
Of course, no Christmas Fair would be complete without a visit from Father Christmas, who will be there taking the children’s wish lists.
A great selection of prizes have been donated for the raffle and tickets will be on sale before and during the event itself.
Entrance to the fair is only €1 per adult, with children going free.
There is still some spaces, if you would like to have a stall at the Fair for a small charge of only €25. Anyone interested should send an email to: [email protected].
So, go along and support this worthy cause, have a great day out and nab a few Christmas bargains as well.
