Now we are into September and with “back to school” fast approaching, Manilva is almost back to normal. There are still some tourists around obviously, the weather is still fantastic.
According to figures recently released by the Manilva Tourism association, Manilva had a booming summer with visitor figures up on previous years. I can vouch for that…haven’t seen it this busy in July and August for many years!!
Throughout the summer, visitors figures to the Tourist office in Duquesa were recorded and the results are as follows:-
257 visitors in June
437 visitors in July
312 visitors in August
It surprises me that there were more visitors in July than August but maybe everyone who came in August had been before and didn’t need information!!
Out of the visitors, 77% were British, 7% Spanish, 7% French, 3% Nordic and 6% from other countries which proves that Manilva has something for everyone and attracts a whole range of visitors.
