Today is Manilva’s saints day and as usual it will be a day of thanksgiving an celebrations.
The day began around 9am when the local marching band “Chi Chi Pom” paraded through the streets.
Later this morning there will be traditional fun and games for the smaller children in the football ground.
At 7 pm there will be a Holy Mass in Calle Mar (as there is still renovation works going on at the church) followed by a procession where the statue of Santa Ana is carried through the town’s streets.
The entertainment continues into the evening with bouncy castle and children’s games in Calle Mar from 9pm plus live music with the group “Rompe-Olas”.
