The Manilva Foreign Residents department are offering the chance to see Mark Knopler (of Dire Straits fame for those of us who are old enough to remember..) in concert in Malaga in July
The concert is at the plaza de Tores (Bullring) in Malaga on Saturday, 27th July. There will be a coach leaving Sabinillas (supersol) at 8pm so you don’t need to worry about transport or parking!! The concert probably won’t start until 11ish as nothing starts early in Spain, especially in the summer…everyone’s still on the beach at 9pm!!. The “estimated” return time is 2.15am on Sunday morning..
Ticket prices for the stands, including transport are €50 and for front of stage tickets, €60. Direct ticket prices for the concert are €40 and €50 respectively so you are paying €10 for the coach. I don’t think that’s bad, once you factor in petrol and parking costs and it’s certainly a lot less hassle!!
