Following the huge success of the International Family Day last year, there will be a “repeat performance” this year. The 2013 event will be held this Sunday, May 12th at the Parque del Huerto, which is next to the Castle in Castillo de la Duquesa.
As before, the day has been organised by the Manilva Foreign Residents Department and you can expect a packed day full of fun activities and entertainment for all the family.
There will be a variety of stands and stalls selling food and drink from various countries as well as a full programme of music and entertainment.
Our new local radio station Castle Radio FM will also be doing a live broadcast throughout the day.
The fun starts at 12 noon and supposedly ends at 6pm but if the day is sunny, I suspect it will continue on for much later…
