Parque de la paloma

El parque de la Paloma is in Benalmádena and if you come to Manilva, its a place that you must visit. Come to it to spend the day. The address is Avenida Federico Garcia Lorca, Benalmádena Costa, Malaga. It was opened in December 1995 and has an amplitude of more than 200,000 square meters.

It’s great for kids because you can find animals that are free and they are not in cages and there are animals in cages. Among the ones that are free you can find hens, chickens, roosters, pigeons, sparrows, many-colored small rabbits, cats … In the lake, there are swans, ducks, gulls, ducks, mallards, turtles, fish … There are also goats and ostriches in the north of the park.

There are many trees like palm trees, cypresse, eucalyptus etc. There are also spacious lawns to play.

This park has many gardens that are always full of people taking a picnic. There is also a bar-restaurant and many swings and slides.

You can go down a hill in the park and you can see a large lake where there are swans and  people can ride some types of bicycles. The park hours change with the seasons, and in winter it opens from 9:00 to 22:00 and in summer from 9:00 to 23:00, due to the greater number of hours in sunlight.
