Forget the German Christmas markets, this year we have our very own Christmas market right here in Sabinillas.
Organised by the delegation of Tourism of Manilva the Christmas market will be located in the PlazaVicente Espinel (the main square behind the taxi rank) and will run run from 6th – 9th December.
The market will be open on each day from 11am to 1pm and then in the evening from 5pm to 11.30pm.
There will be various stalls selling a variety of items including hand made gifts, sweets, turron, and chocolate Santas and kings!! as well as plenty of Christmas music.
Pepi Valenzuela, the director of tourism is also trying to organise a live nativity scene or Belen….
Sounds like great fun for all the family especially as its holiday in Spain on the 6th and 8th December so the kids have a 4 day weekend (I’ll explain about Spanish “puentes” later).
