Its’ local elections here next May and all foreign residents have the right to vote, however, you must be registered on the padron to vote and the deadline for this is 30th December. With this in mind, the Manilva Foreign Residents Department has organised a meeting on Friday, 12 December at the Manilva Wine Centre, from 6 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to outline the benefits of enrolling on the padron as well of other topic of interest.
There will also be information available on the discount available for the 2015 IBI bills.
For all of us who work during the week and cannot get to the town hall offices to register, the town hall is also opening on Sunday 13th December and Sunday 20th December form 10.00 – 13.00 so people can register to vote and apply for the IBi discount.
