After waiting for almost 5 years, with the complete project scrapped at one point, it now looks like Sabinillas will soon have it’s very own sports centre.
Last week, Manilva’s mayor , Diego Urieta, signed a €188,000 contract for the completion of the Sports Centre.
The new sports centre will consist of a multisport playing surface of some 1700m2, grandstands with capacity of up to 300 spectators, changing rooms and toilets, reception and a bar area. The sports centre is located in the centre of Sabinillas behind the medical centre. The main entrance will be in Calle Goya with a further disabled entrance in Avenida Andalucia
Work is expected to be completed in 3 months so should all be up and running by Easter… fingers crossed!!
