The “Feria de Jerez” is one of the most popular fairs in Spain, especially for horse lovers. It originally started as a livestock show in 1284 but has evolved into one of the largest equine events on Europe.
There is all kinds of horse related activities including show jumping and dressage, but the highlight of the fair is the Dancing horses, performed by the renowned Equestrian school in Jerez.
As well as the horses, there is also a huge funfair, music, traditional dancing, fireworks and everything else you’d expect at Spanish fair.
This year’s fair runs from 11th to 18th May and you can experience it, thanks to Manilva’s tourism department. They have organised a trip to the fair on Wednesday 14th May. The price is 33€ per person which includes return coach travel and lunch.
