If you want so really good, home cooked tapas then Bar Lo de Andres in Sabinillas is the place to go. You will find Lo de Andres in Plaza Vicente Espinel which is the square behind the taxi rank in Sabinillas.
The is a huge range of tapas from the “normal” (Serrano ham, Mantego cheese) to the slightly more unusual such as prawn parcels or mini toasts with various toppings
They also serve a full range of breakfasts and light snacks. Lo de Andres is family run and you are always made to feel welcome.
There is a large terrace outside (heated in the winter) and during the summer, there is a large TV on the terrace where you can watch many live sports events whilst enjoying a beer or two along with some tapas. Free wifi is also offered so that should keep the kids quiet!!
We have been to Lo de Andres several times and I cannot fault it. We normally just ask for a selection of tapas and always come away completely full and not having spent a fortune either which is always a bonus…
