Is there no end to the trips organised by the Manilva’s Foreign Residents department?? This one is to the town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, famed for it seafood cuisine, especially the prawns and its manzanilla, a type of sherry.
Sanlúcar de Barrameda is also known for the horse racing events which are run on the beach every August and its strong links to Flamenco.
This trip will take place on Saturday 23rd March, leaving from Castillo at 8.30am. The price is €32 per person but look at what you get for your money….. Return transport, a visit to the Delgado Zulata bodega and a wine tasting, a guided tour of the town by tourist train, and lunch with drinks. There will also be some free time to allow for some shopping or to explore the town further. I’m tempted to book this one myself!!
