For as long as I can remember, there was always a campsite in the Chullera area of Manilva. The old campsite closed a few years ago and the site remained empty for a while but now a new, bang up to date campsite has opened there. La Bella vista Campsite was officially opened by the mayoress of Manilva on 31st March.
The site is over 25000 m2 in size and has 150 plots, the largest of these being 12om2. Each plot comes with its own electricity and water supply unlike other campsites we have been to where we have had to stretch an extension lead from the power point to our pitch!!
The modern facilites include individual showers, family bathrooms, baby bathrooms, laundry and free hot water. There is a well stocked shop, restaurant, bar, swimming pool and childrens playground. The whole campsite is disabled friendly – the bathrooms and showers can be accessed by ramp and there is a lift into the swimming pool.
The swimming pool area is open all year round and includes a large feature pool and smaller children´s pool. There is also a “chiringuito” so you can enjoy a snack or a drink whilst relaxing by the pool.
The restaurant La Bella vista is open from 9am to Midnight and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tapas and snacks. Menu del dia is available for €12.
