Yet another new business opened in Sabinillas… A new shoe shop.
Calzados MayRa is situated in Calle Miguel Delibes, just along from the lottery shop – next door to the new clothes shop http://www.hamilton-homes.com/blog/972-e-f-modas-y-complementarios-new-clothes-shop-in-sabinillas.html
(people who have been in Manilva a few years will remember that both units were once a dentist)
The shop caters for men, ladies and children. Some of the kids shoes are really cute and cost as little as €8. Can’t say I took much interest in the men’s shoes (well, us ladies, wouldn’t would we..) but some of the ladies shoes are stunning. I must admit, the “killer heels” didn’t appeal to me although my 18 year old daughter took quite a shine to a cobalt blue pair (would go with her new dress…) . The selection is varied and affordable. In these hard times, most of us can’t afford to spend €70 – €80 on a pair of sandals so it’s great to see some available locally at around the €20 mark.
Official opening hours are Mon – Fri 10 – 2, then 5 – 8 and 10-2 on a Saturday, however, when we popped by last Saturday at around 1pm they were closed, but hey ho, this is Spain…
