Vinomarket is a wine, spirit, beer & soft drinks wholesaler situated in the polo village of San Enrique de Guadiaro. The new warehouse store opened on 1st October 2019 to both on-trade and private customers. Once registered with Vinomarket, these customers can benefit from trade and wholesale prices and delivery services.

This month we have been thoroughly enjoying Richard’s previous wine recommendations with friends and family. However, as we approach August, we are excited to discover some new wines. This week we were lucky enough to experience our own private wine tasting with Richard. Watch the video below!

Notorious Pink
The best-known award-winning French pink blush between Sotogrande and Estepona. With aromas of floral orange blossom and ripe summer red fruits, this wine has a perfect balance of acidity and soft dry minerality. Wholesale price: 10€
Voga Prosecco
This is a classic multi-award-winning classic sparkler from the DOC of Veneto in the north east of Italy, presented in a stylish modern cut glass bottle. It is beautifully crisp yet refreshingly flavoured with soft crunchy bubbles and excellent intensity of peaches, apricots, apples and acacia. I love to sip this Prosecco with oysters, but it goes very well with all shellfish as well as fruit salads or just as a refreshing treat on its own. Wholesale price: 8,50€
Crazy Tropez
A really great and funky blush from the South of France made from 70% Grenache and 30% Cinsault grapes so famous in Provence and Languedoc. A beautiful light pink/salmon in colour, it bursts with light red fruits (but not too powerful) whilst remaining crisp and smooth right through to a lingering finish. Very versatile either as an aperitif or pairs really well with warm salads, salmon (of course) and other fish and seafood dishes. Great value-for-money at our Wholesale price: 6,50€
June’s Recommendations from Vinomarket’s Wine Merchant
As we are coming out of lockdown and into summer, we look forward to once again enjoying meals out and barbecues with friends. Therefore, this month we asked Richard from Vinomarket for his recommendations for some great everyday wines for the summer. Read on to see which wines he has chosen.
Caballero de Olmedo
Verdejo & Viura blend, very fresh and fruity with apricot and peach notes. Priced at 4.50€ a bottle
Protocolo Rosado Blush
Blush / Clarete Rosado surprisingly smooth with a good raspberry fruit finish. Just 3.50€ a bottle.
Viore Tinto de Toro
The perfect daily red. Young, no wood ageing, remarkably smooth with rich fruit and great for BBQs. Great price too at 4.00€ a bottle.
Gran Livenza Brut Nature Cava
Dry crisp Cava made naturally from Macabeo, Perellada and Xarello. It is refreshing and clean. Priced at only 4.00€ a bottle.
Gran Livenza Brut Rosado Cava
Dry rosado Cava with subtle red berry fruit long finish and a great value pink sparkler! 4.50€ a bottle.
May’s Recommendations from Vinomarket’s Wine Merchant
I asked Richard of Vinomarket, if he could recommend some wine. For this month he has selected three wines from the ‘Marques de Legarda’ range, produced in one of the oldest Bodega’s in Spain.
Bodegas de la Real Divisa 1367
This must be the oldest Bodega in Spain, perhaps in Europe, even in the World! A family descendant, Martin Fernandez Navarette, the current “Marques de Legarda”, is the man behind these great traditional Rioja wines. This is one of the oldest wineries in production in the World and was the first Rioja winery to be awarded a medal at the Bordeaux Exhibition in France back in 1895!
Moreover, the Marques de Legarda range has adorned the tables of many noble Spanish families for years. The winery’s consistency in producing outstanding quality is as a result of employing meticulously practised techniques which have been perfected over centuries. Additionally, the special selection of grapes from the winery´s own vineyards, and production of very low quantities makes these wines so fine.
These wines have a real following and I understand why. So if you haven’t already – give them a try… they won’t disappoint!
Marques de Legarda Crianza
Dependable, consistent, light cherry fruit. Easy-to-drink yet cries out quality!
Marques de Legarda Reserva
Clean brilliant cherry red look. Complex, intense with warm aromas. Full and well balanced with a persistent complex finish.
Marques de Legarda Gran Reserva
Maroon, clean bright, elegant fruit with toasty notes. Expressive and lovely and velvety. The fruit and oak are perfectly balanced.
