Fun Slides in Bahia Park
Fun Slides in Bahia Park

Visited Bahia Park (waterpark)the other day and the girls had a fabulous time. It is a great place for young families with enough going on to spend an entire day there, whilst feeling small enough for young kids.

There is a special deal on at the moment – families with 2 young children (below 150cm) go for 46 euros. Infants under 95cm go free. The listed Tariffs at the time of writing are the following:

Ticket Full Day : ADULT 17 Euros, CHILD 12 Euros

Ticket Half Day from 15:30h : ADULT 12 Euros, CHILD 9 Euros

Ticket – by Height :

( between 0.95 – 1.50m) ADULT 17 Euros, CHILD 12 Euros

Below 0.95m ( FREE )

Over 65´s : 12 Euros

For those with young children, there is great entertainment. When we visited, our kids were so excited to see Dora and Woody and Jessie perform and sing songs. Kids get a chance to join well-known characters on the stage of the wavepool and sing and dance along to Spanish kids songs. The atmosphere is great.

Some of the slides require rubber rings – you can either queue up for these rings or hire your own for the day. This seriously cuts queuing time. If going in a group, it may be an idea to all pitch in, hire a few of these floats and share them to make it more economic.

There are cafes around and a pizzeria if you wish to lunch there. the cafe serves delicious waffles and buñelos and lots of icecream, adding to the fun of the overall day.

There are fun attractions for the youngest and oldest in the families with the Niagara slide being the scariest of the lot and the Black Hole a favourite amongst my kids.

It really is worth a visit – so if on holiday here in spain or looking for a day out, visit Bahia Park. The telephone number is 956 633 330, or you can visit the website (updated version of adobe flash required to view this) for more info and a map to Bahia Park, located in Avenida Vigen de la PAlma s/n, Algeciras (Motorway A7 – exit 106). Visit Eye on Spain for more photos of the waterpark.
