Figures recently released show an increase of 4.7% in the amount of tourists visiting Spain in the first half of 2015, against the same period in 2014.
38 Million tourist visited Spain from January to July 2015 …..so that figure doesn’t include August – the busiest month of the year!!
Locally, here in the Malaga province, there wasn’t a hotel room to be had in July and August, restaurants were fully booked 2 or 3 days in advance and parking….well lets just say it was easier to walk!!!
All positive news for the local economy..
Well, now we are into September, the weather is now pleasant rather than unbearable, it it easier to park and you can now walk into a restaurant but there is still a nice “buzz” to the area.
Coupled with the good pound to euro rate (OK, it’s dropped slightly but still good compared to last year!), there has never been a better time to invest in Spanish property.
