L Perla de La Bahia Casares Apartments

I absolutely love this urbanisation!   Why??  Because it is different.

Firstly, I really appreciate the attention to detail and Moorish influences – the exquisite ornate arches and the layout of the communal gardens, all put together with so much thought.  Even the multi-coloured pastel exterior has been done with so much thought.

Secondly, the design is fabulous – they have thought hard about luxury living.  There are practical qualities – underground parking and lift access to all apartments .  The apartments are airy and spacious and have fabulous terraces – many with breath-taking sea views.  The interior of the aprtments are built to very high standards and yet again, it is different to most, a touch of Moorish blended with Andalucian, making this development original.  The lounge areas are spacious, the kitchens large and fully fitted and the bedrooms are made for families.  Apartments have air-conditioning and heating and underfloor heating in the bathrooms.  The open chimney gives the apartments a touch of warmth and makes the large lounge-diner cosy.

But its not just about the property but also the location.  It is right on the beach.  Take a look at these kitesurfing images taken on the Casares Beach this Winter.  We always think of the beach as beautiful on a Summer’s evening but the Winter months can also be spectacular.  There is also a really good fish restaurant on the beach in front called La Sal, a must for those wishing to try typical Spanish fish dishes and authentic Paella.  Close by, there is much to explore, including the white-washed village of Casares, the neighbouring Manilva area and Sabinillas promenade, the Roman baths etc.  The list is endless and if you fancy a real adventure, within two hours you could be visiting the Alhambra in Granada or the Cathedral in Sevilla.  This area in Andalucia is just perfect to access so many different towns and villages with so much to offer – so much culture and richness.
