The past two Fridays we have been blessed with beautiful sunshine so we made the most of it and choose somewhere for lunch were we could sit outside. Last week’s choice was Kelly’s Bar in the Courtyard at Monte Duquesa. The menu is quite varied including full English breakfast, burgers, jacket potatoes, lasagne, wraps and Salads. The prices are very reasonable with most light lunches around €5-€7. I say “light” but the portions are quite large. Trying to be healthy, I opted for roasted vegetable salad. Absolutely delicious! A large bowl with lettuce, cucumber, tomotoes, onions, carrots, pasta, coleslaw and piled high with a mixture of roasted vegetables – and priced at €5.95, really good value.
The Courtyard at Monte Duquesa is a pleasant square with shops, cafes and restaurants, only minutes from Duquesa Marina and within easy walking distance to the urbanisations of Duquesa Suites, Monte Duquesa, Los Carmones and Fuentes de la Duquesa.
Give it a try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
