I didn’t even know this place existed…. Finca La Algaba de Ronda is located on the A369 (KM4.5 on the Ronda – Algeciras road) and takes you back in time. The restored Andalucian farmhouse shows over 200 years of farming history. There are farm animals and rare breeds roaming the fields and exhibits of traditional agriculture.
On another part of the farm, there is a Scientific Prehistoric Park where an old settlement has been reproduced.
This Sunday 8th March, Ecotours Casares have organised a visit to the park. Explore the fabulous surrounding countryside with a guide who will explain the flora and fauna and the geology of the area as well as the many birds of prey that frequent the area. Then visit the neolithic settlement and take part in several workshops including bread making and stone engraving.
After all that, there is lunch at the Cortigo. The cost of the trip is 15€ per person. Places are limited so book soon. Call 675648863 or email [email protected]
