Iceland Puerto Banus update

Had to go to Banus the other night so thought we would call into Iceland on the way home to check it out. It was quite late (around 8.30pm and they close at 9) but I was surprised to see how full the shelves were, especially for fresh products. To be honest, I would say that 70% of thier stock is grocery products with only 30% frozen stock. It is smaller than the Fuengirola store and the freezers are upright display cabinets as opposed to the chest freezers they have in Fuengirola. The plus side was that it was easier to see the products, the downside being that they cannot hold as much stock of each product – 8 bags of sausages and that section was full! Having said that, they seemed to be “filling up” on a regular basis so I don’t think this will be too much of an issue. I managed to get everything I wanted, plus a few extra treats for the kids. Home in 20 minutes with everything packed away in my freezer. Job done!!
