There have been public tennis courts on the Marina de Casares urbanisation for as long as I can remember. A few weeks ago, the bulldozers moved in and started knocking down the barriers around the courts and digging up the edges. Strangely enough, nothing was done to the courts themselves… We were all wondering what was going on and we got the answer a few days ago when a large lorry arrived with glass panels edged in bright blue…. they were turning the tennis courts into padel tennis courts.
Great news for some but disappointing for others who liked to play “proper” tennis!!
