The third Battle of the bands contest will take place next Saturday 4th October at Louie Louie R&R Bar in Estepona Port, starting from 9pm.
The aim of the Battle of the bands contest is to find some of the best bands in Andalucía and allow them to promote themselves and their music to the public, promoters, record labels and venues in order to help their path to success.
The line up for this year’s battle is :-
Futu Matana, a popular funk band from Malaga; The Tragic Company, an indie rock act from Estepona; Midriff, a young rock band from Gibraltar; The Syl & Roc Folk Jazz Band; Minimal Soul Circus, a quirky soul duo from Ronda; Kathew, a death metal band from Algeciras; Elephant Riders, a rock trio from Malaga; Gareth Owen Combo, pop/rock/blues and Come In Leon, rock band from Gibraltar. So a real mixture of music and something for everyone.
Winners of the 2012 battle of the bands, Orange Peel, will be opening the show and Reggae Roots and Ubuntu, the 2013 winners will perform during the judging.
