Manilva’s annual cultural week starts tomorrow and will run until Sunday 27th April. This event brings music, dance, films and exhibitions to Manilva and it’s all free!!
Here’s what you can expect – Enjoy!!
Wednesday 23rd April – Book Day
12.00 Book day – Entrance to town hall
This kicks off with a poetical recital with different associations and schools participating.
19.00 Opening of an art exhibition “Palabras Aladas” by the local art group Arte Doce. This will be in the Manilva wine centre and will be open throughout Cultural week.
20.00 Several different performances by Manilva’s theatre group in the Centro de Interpracion (above wine museum)
Thursday 24th April- Music Day
8.30 pm Pupils from the Malaga Conservatory of Music will perform works by Liszt, Bellini, Caballero, Verdi, Debussy, Webern and Haydn. The concert will take place in the Centro de Interpracion (above wine museum)
Friday 25th April – Dance Day
8 pm – To celebrate International Dance Day, pupils and teachers from all of Manilva’s dance schools will participate in a festival of dance – expect ballet, flamenco and salsa to name but a few. Again, in the interpretation centre.
Saturday 26th April – Flamenco Day
8 pm – Flamenco guitar, songs and dance in the Manilva Wine Centre Theatre.
Sunday 27th April – Film Day
Cinema in the Wine Centre Theatre, childrens’ film (don’t know which one yet!) at 7pm and family film at 9pm
