This evening (Wednesday 12th March), at 6pm, two new bowls pitches which are situated inside the football ground complex in Manilva, will be officially opened by the Mayoress and the Councillor for sports.
The sport of bowls has increased in popularity over the past few months with residents of Manilva competing in tournaments against neighbouring towns. Now, there is a place where everyone can enjoy and practice this sport.
The pitches will be open from 8am right through until 10pm. They are free to use and there is no need to book the pitch.
