Trip to Frigiliana and Nerja

Manilva’s cultural department has organised a trip to Frigiliana and Nerja to take place on Saturday 25th January.

Frigiliana is situated 7km inland from Nerja and is a considered to be one of the best preserved Moorish towns in Malalga.  There are several notable places of interest in Frigiliana including la Iglesia de San Antonio – the church of the patron saint of the town.

Another area you cannot miss is the  mudéjar district. This dates back to Moorish times and made up of steep cobbled alleyways of white houses covered with flowers.

After a few hours enjoying Frigiliana, the trip then moves onto Nerja, one of the prettiest coastal resorts in the area. Again there are many places to visit and sights to see including the most famous viewpoint of Nerja, the  “Balcón de Europa”.
