Manilva’s looking council will be overseeing a “Campaign for Kilos” This is a “non perishable food collection” in the local supermarkets this week.
As you do your own shopping, you will also be asked to purchase an item of non perishable goods, such as rice, pasta, tinned products, oil ect and deposit it at the collection point normally as you leave the supermarket.
The food will be shared out between local families in need in the Manilva area, all of whom have been previously vetted by the social services department.
The participating supermarkets are Supersol, Lidl. Mercadona and Eroski.
Our donations will mean the needy families can also enjoy Christmas.
