Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan & Cudeca cancer support

Friday 27th September is the day that McMillian cancer support is asking everyone to get together and hold a coffee morning to raise morning so they can continue their fantastic work.

We are also taking part her in Sabinillas with our coffee morning being held at Plaza Jorge Guillen, Punta Almina, in Sabinillas (also known as Orange square – due to the olive trees (obviously!) or Albert Square – due to the three “English” bars on the square..)

The coffee morning starts at 11.00. All funds raised will be split 50:50 between Macmillan and Cudeca (Spain’s cancer charity)

As well as plenty of cups of coffee, there will also be delicious homemade cakes for sale, stalls selling books, bric-a-brac, nearly new clothes and homemade marmalade and chutney. in addition to this there will also be a raffle and tombola with some prizes donated by local residents and businesses.

Last year’s coffee morning raised over €1,500 and it is hoped that we can beat that this year.
