After 12 long week the kids are finally returning to school… The infant and primary schools went back last Monday and the secondary schools go back this coming Monday the 16th..
I have to say that, for the first time in 10 years, we are really organised and prepared this year…no doubt come Monday the school will say we need another book or some other materials and totally throw me….
My daughter went of to university to Madrid at the end of August so whilst getting her sorted, I got all the necessary materials etc that my son needed – although as usual, we have ended up with 2 rulers and 2 compasses as son insisted that he didn’t have them and, of course, I found them after we had bought new ones…..
As usual everything is last minute here, the class lists have only just been published on the school website – although that’s an improvement – on previous years we’ve had to physically go to the school to look at the lists – but we still don’t know who my son has as his class tutor this year yet…..all will be revealed on Monday no doubt.
By the way, if you thought you were loosing the kids bright and early for the usual 8.15 start..you’ll be disappointed. School starts at 10.15 on Monday. Normal times resume on Tuesday.
