Should have posted this earlier but better late than never….
This Saturday 24th August, there will be an auction of celebrity memorabilia in aid of 2 local charities. The auction, organised in collaboration with the Manilva Foreign Residents Department, will be held in the lovely setting of the castle in Castillo and starts at 7pm.
The two charities are:-
Animal in Need who wish to increase their neutering program for cats and dogs which helps prevent many unwanted litters. They will also use the money towards durable dog houses, so the animals have shelter for the winter.
The Duquesa Charitable Society of St George who will use their share of funds to supply food parcels to local families currently struggling during the tough economic times.
The auction will be hosted by local radio presenter Sid Olivera with items donated by Anita Dobson, Mark Knopfler, Shane Warne and Simon Cowell!!
As well as the auction, there will also be live entertainment and food and drink for sale.
Tickets are just €20 each and can be bought at The Bookshop or Fathoms Bar in Sabinillas. Ticket price includes a portion of Paella as well as a free welcome drink and canapés.
