As in previous years, Manilva’s Tourism Department has organised the ‘Dia del Turista’. This annual event celebrates the tourists that visit the area throughout the year but especially so, during the summer months. This years event will take place tomorrow 15th August – which also happens to be a national holiday – in Plaza Vicente Espinel, Sabinillas (behind the taxi rank).
Live music will be performed by the groups ‘Mala Manera’ and ‘Asabam’ and there will be a dance performance by the Cristina Seguin Dance School.
Expect to see lots of flamenco outfits – anyone dressed in traditional costume will be entered into a prize draw to win a holiday
Officially the event starts at midday but most of the entertainment won’t be on until later in the evening.
