New “English Tea Room” opens in Sabinillas.

This is a very wonderful new addition to Sabinillas – a traditional English tearoom.  Vetty’s Tearoom has been opened for a couple of weeks now and seems to be doing great. It is not only attracting the ex pats but the Spanish residents as well.

Vetty’s is situated just off the paseo in  Calle Duquesa de Arcos (opposite Punta Almina). The decor is calm and relaxing allowing you to enjoy your pot of tea in perfect tranquility.. And of course, we mustn’t forget the large selection of cakes on sale, many of which are home made, as well as freshly made sandwiches, crumpets and scones.

No tea room would be complete without the classic afternoon tea. This is available for €10 per person (although its probably big enough to share…) and consists of a selection of sandwiches with your choice of filling, cakes and pastries including scones served with jam and cream and a pot of tea.

You can also buy sandwiches and cakes to take away….saves packing a picnic for the beach.

Vetty’s is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm but, as the weather gets warmer, they will, of course, be open later.
