Short notice I know but hey… this is Spain… everything’s last minute!!
There is a special show tonight in el Centro de Interpretación “Las Viñas” (above wine musuem) as part of the celebrations for the worldwide “día de la danza” (29th April). The pupils and teachers from the various dance schools in the area will perform various pieces covering a whole range of different dance styles including Cha,cha, cha, Hip-Hop, Flamenco and Tango. The show starts at 7pm.
Following on from the dance show at 10.30pm, there will be a performance of the Monologue “Monolocos” by the Theatre Company “La Trapería”. Often seen at Carneval, these monologues look at current affairs and issues in a comedic vein. To be honest, you’d probably have to be fluent in Spanish to understand it all but the experience is good.
