Another trip organised by the Tourism department – this time to the “Feria Internacional de los Pueblos” (International people’s Fair)
This annual event takes place in Fuengirola and dates back to 1994. It’s aim is to showcase the different customs, folklore, gastronomy as well as the cultural and historic and attractions of this multicultural town and the surrounding area of the Costa del Sol. Representatives from over 30 countries will be participating.
This is possibly one of the most visited feria’s on the coast with over a million people expected this year. This year’s event runs from 1st (which is actually a bank holiday here in Spain) to 5th May. Someone on trip advisor said that “visiting the Feria Internacional de Los Pueblos is like travelling around the world in just 4 days”
The trip from Manilva will be on Saturday 4th May and the price is just €10 per person which includes a drink in one of the “Casitas” (bars)
Places are limited so book now. Either visit the tourism office in Duquesa Port or call 952897434.
