Tomorrow, Saturday 9th February, there will be a party organised by Manilva’s Social Welfare department in aid of a local resident, Vanina. The party will be held at the Pabellón de Usos Múltiples in Manilva starting at 9.30pm.
Vanina suffers from a disease called chondrodystrophy, which causes serious mobility problems. The aim of the party is to raise funds to help Vanina acquire expensive mobility aids which will help her to lead a near normal life.
Tickets to the party cost 5 euros, and include entry into a prize draw with prizes donated by local companies. if you don’t want to attend the party but would like to donate, you can do so at any of the establishments selling the tickets. There are several businesses selling tickets including the bookshop /newsagents in Calle Miguel Delibes. Look out for the poster below displayed in the windows.
